El REY TACOS & TEQUILA – Authentic Mexican Dining & Vibrant Tequila Bar in Uhrichsville, OH

Arrived at 4 with a party of 7. We were seated in the new outdoor veranda and it was a very nice day. Presented with fresh bowls of chips,salsa,Mexican coleslaw and hot cheese dip by our server Enrique. Pepsi,diet Pepsi,Starry,fresca pina and lime margaritas to drink. 2 ordered the molcajete,1 steak and chicken fajita,2 beef taco salads and 1 chicken salad. Was plenty of food and had to take some home to eat later! Would also like to add that it was my friends birthday and not only was he presented with fried ice cream but was serenaded a song by several of the staff !

Top tier food. Especially for this part of tusc county which is fairly scarce. Atmosphere is very nice with airbrushed murals and nice tile work. The patio which is heated and enclosed is also awesome the fountain tieing it all together. The food is excellent. I've been here twice now the first time getting the cochinita pibil(slow roasted pork similar to carnitas) and it honestly was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The pork was tender, juicy and very flavorful. The plating was also well done so presentation made you even more hungry. The second time I ordered camarones a la diabla(spicy shrimp) and again. Delicious. Shrimp weren't over cooked and the sauce had some nice Chipotle and maybe even some habenero fire to it. Service was great. Waiter and waitresses are professional and upbeat. We never waited to have drinks refilled and wait times we're more than acceptable. Overall I think this a fantastic addition to tusc county and I will be a regular for sure. I highly recommend it.

Former Pizza Hut transformed into a Mexican style restaurant recently, with an addition to make it larger than the original building. Dining area decorated with paintings. Bathrooms new, but men's room had a plumbing issue. The food selection and quality was good. The service was good. I recommend this restaurant.

I honestly haven't eaten here, but the staff helped me change my tire tonight. Great people. I think they're worth checking out. Update; I have now gone their to eat and it was absolutely amazing.

I can't get enough of this place. The food is reasonably priced. It's extravagant tasting. The portions are large enough that you won't leave hungry, that's for certain. The birria is delectable. the carnitas, extraordinary. Their salsa is always on point. Not too spicy, not to plain. It's vibrant and acidic and really pops. We tried the queso fundito, which was a hit for the whole table. I can't recommend this place any more than the review system will let me. If you're in the area, go here. I promise you won't be disappointed.

We stopped in to place an order, then ran to the DG Market and then picked up our food to take back to our Air BnB. The waitress was super helpful and nice. Our meal was delicious and super hot and fresh. We will return when we return to the area to visit family again! Yum!

Very clean and great decor. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Food is amazing. Will be back soon.

I just have to say this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is DELICIOUS, the place is CLEAN and the staff are nice as can be!!! I got the AP Special which is chicken, shrimp, and steak with peppers & onions over a bed of rice. The steak was cooked tender, the shrimp wasn't rubbery, the chicken was flavorful. I will definitely be back!
